ACMEPOINT (6692) Positions in Geothermal Baseload to Seize the Net-Zero Opportunity

Published 2026-03-13

The "Net-Zero Transition Forum: Advanced Geothermal Technology Development and Applications," guided by the National Science and Technology Council, will take place on March 18, focusing on scaling up geothermal commercialization. Renewable energy service provider ACMEPOINT Energy Services (stock code: 6692) is closely following this development, emphasizing that geothermal energy offers the "baseload" advantage of stable 24-hour power generation. The company's strategy is precisely aligned with national energy transition and security policy, creating long-term sustainable value for investors.

Backed by extensive site operations experience, ACMEPOINT has delivered strong results across Taiwan, demonstrating its efficient execution on large-scale green energy projects:

• Outstanding deployment: Over 348 solar PV sites built to date.

• Power generation: Total generation has reached 1,626 GWh (1.626 billion kWh).

• Environmental impact: Over 800,000 metric tons of carbon reduced cumulatively — equivalent to the annual carbon absorption of 2,000 Daan Forest Parks.

To lead on key green energy issues, ACMEPOINT began positioning itself in geothermal development as early as July 2024, and successfully obtained a geothermal exploration permit in October 2025. The project is currently in the administrative application and plant construction phase, and is expected to provide at least 90 million kWh of baseload power annually after commercial operation begins, turning policy tailwinds into strong revenue growth momentum.

Beyond energy development, ACMEPOINT is also actively fulfilling its corporate social responsibility. The geothermal exploration well currently being drilled has helped the National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering (under the National Science and Technology Council) install high-precision detection instruments. By collecting deep underground data, this not only strengthens the national earthquake monitoring network but also provides valuable research data for Taiwan's geothermal industry, realizing a win-win vision for industry, government, and academia.
